2020 Boys and Girls Club No-Show Gala
Every year, The Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County (BCG) host a Kids & Community Gala. This year as the COVID-19 pandemic changes how we conduct social activities, The Club will host a 2020 NO SHOW Gala instead.
The 2020 NO SHOW Gala is an opportunity for people in the community to still contribute to and help The Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County during this time of uncertainty.
“In light of COVID-19, we were unable to host a face-to-face event this year. So, we are sincerely grateful for the continued support from our sponsors this year, we could not serve the kids in our community without our generous donors.”Jenn Morriss, Director of Marketing & Communications
Jenn Morriss and Justin Samples from the Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County, met with Dr. Kyle Marrero and the Office of the President last week to secure their donation for the 2020 No Show Gala. Marrero explained how grateful GSU was to The Club as they help cultivate Bulloch County’s youth into hopeful Eagles.
“The Boys and Girls Club of Bulloch County provides an environment and opportunity for much of our youth in our community to find engagement and educational activities.”Kyle Marrero, President of Georgia Southern University
Ultimately, even as The Club functions at half-capacity (due to COVID-19 regulations), it needs financial support from the community. so they can continue helping families and youth in our community.
The title sponsor for this event is Alison and Robin Rich of Automation Systems & Controls, with the supporting sponsor being the Georgia Southern University’s Office of the President. Corporate sponsors for the event include Bulloch First, GSU College of Education, East Georgia Regional Medical Center, Lanier, Deal & Proctor CPA, Queensborough, Statesboro Cardiology & Ogeechee Technical College.
