According to the COVID-19 Event Risk Assessment Planning Tool developed by Georgia Tech, if you attend an event in Bulloch with 10 people there is a 10% risk of one person in the group being COVID positive. In Evans it is 13% and Candler there is a 32% risk of someone in the group is COVID positive.
Increase the group size to 100 and in Bulloch the risk increases to 63%, Evans it is 73% and in Candler there is a 98% chance one person in the crowd will be COVID positive.
While this is much improved, the virus is still lurking around. Local leaders remind you to continue to follow CDC recommendations which include wearing a mask, practice social distancing, washing your hands and be extra cautious in crowds.
