Artistic Director Shay Morgan is excited to announce the 7th annual production of Statesboro School of Dance’s ‘Nutcracker’ Ballet.

This year’s ballet will take place Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Georgia Southern University Performing Arts Center.

There are two opportunities to take in this Christmas tradition – 1pm and 5pm – and tickets are available through the Performing Arts Center.

The classic ballet features Katherine Whitlock as Clara, Claire Pagliarullo as Fritz, Bryn Green as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen, and Hope Hutchens as the Nutcracker.

The Nutcracker Ballet follows the story of young Clara Stahlbaum as her toy Nutcracker comes alive and battles the Mouse King and then takes her to visit magical realms. Danced to the Nutcracker Suite by Peter Tchaikovsky, this ballet has become a staple performance for Statesboro School of Dance. Ms. Morgan invites the community to celebrate the holiday
season by enjoying the studio’s annual production.

Statesboro School of Dance’s mission is to foster the art of dance. A leader in classical dance education for all ages in levels in Southeast Georgia, they provide dance training
