Thousands came out to “Shop by Lantern Light” last night in Downtown Statesboro.  This year marked the 10th anniversary for the event that services as the official kick off for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Nearly 60 vendors reported brisk sales and were very pleased with the success of the event.  This serves as the end of the Statesboro Farmers market season.  The market will open again in April and will be held every Saturday through November.

The Tall Paul Band provided entertainment throughout the evening.
