This Saturday, December 9, Bulloch Rec is offering children ages 13 and under an opportunity for festive fun at the Bulloch County Ag Complex! Parents may register for a one-hour time slot between 9am-noon for their children to enjoy holiday activities, visits and photos with Santa Claus, and special treats like hot cocoa and cookies.
Children will also have the opportunity to make a personalized Christmas keepsake with Southern Pottery and Art Studio. They will be able to place their handprint on a special piece of pottery and paint a holiday ornament. Each item will be fired and prepped to last for a lifetime of Santa visits by Southern Pottery and Art Studio. (The items will be available for pick up after December 9th, and you will be contacted when ready.)
Santa will be coming to town with the help of Four Points Santa, and Anderson’s General Store and Bulloch Fertilizer have provided a red antique truck for him. Children will be invited to visit with him there, so make sure to get those wishlists ready! Recreation and Parks staff will take photos, and parents are welcome to take their own photos, as well.
This has become a beloved community event that offers not only fun activities but also a laid-back environment for visiting with Santa Claus. The Recreation and Parks staff are looking forward to welcoming the children of Bulloch County for a morning of holiday cheer!
Tickets are $25 per child, and pre-registration is required. You can register ONLINE HERE or visit the Honey Bowen Building at 1 Max Lockwood Dr. You will select a one-hour time slot for your visit, beginning at either 9am, 10am, or 11am. There will be a maximum of 30 children per time slot.
The deadline to register is Friday, December 8, so secure your spot today!
