With the holidays approaching, everyone’s looking forward to savoring sweeter moments—and Sweet Impact is here to make those moments even better. Robert Lucas, an internet famous baker and owner of the sweet shop, and his team have been working diligently to bring exciting updates to their storefront and prepare for the festive season.
Since opening in April, Sweet Impact has become a go-to spot for fresh treats in the Statesboro community. With a rotating menu, customers can look forward to trying new flavors of cupcakes and cookies each month.
But as of this fall, they are more than just a bakery: their expanded menu now highlights a candy wall, along with other new treats like homemade caramel corn and marshmallow treats.
“We’re excited about offering something unique to the area,” Lucas said. Guests at the shop have embraced the new additions, actively shopping and asking about the expanded menu.
Some of the most popular treats recently include brownies, brookies (a brownie-cookie hybrid), and marshmallow treats. Seasonal options have also been a hit, like the red velvet brownies currently available and gingerbread cookies coming soon.
Holiday cakes are another highlight. Customers can purchase traditional cakes year-round, but Sweet Impact has special offerings for the season. For Thanksgiving, they’re featuring a specialty red velvet cake, while Christmas will bring two unique festive cake designs.
A fun tidbit? Lucas and the team recently installed a cake decorating station in the “front of house”. The second station is a part of the front counter with a clear guard, so guests can come in and see cakes actively being decorated while in the shop.
