A Safe Haven for Skill Development
Nestled just off the South Veterans Parkway/301 Bypass, the Shooting Sports Education Center (SSEC) is a state-of-the-art facility that not only caters to seasoned marksmen and markswomen, but also welcomes beginners eager to explore the world of shooting sports. With cutting-edge technology and expert instructors, the center provides a safe and controlled environment for individuals to hone their skills.
The center is open to the public and anyone ages seven and up can participate in archery events, and 10 and up can shoot on the firearms range. If you’re looking to hone your skills on our firearms or archery ranges, simply complete our same-day membership process for only $20. If you’re only interested in participating in our programs and events, simply pay the registration fee — no need to become a member.
Youth Empowerment through Shooting Sports
One of the center's standout initiatives is its youth development programs. By instilling a sense of discipline, responsibility and focus, the center aims to empower the next generation through the principles of shooting sports. Young participants not only develop valuable life skills but also cultivate a deep appreciation for safety, teamwork and the fun of shooting sports.
Be sure to check out our Winter Day Camp from Dec. 18 - 20. We have three different sessions offerings so your youth can maximize the opportunities learning how to shoot a firearm or bow safely with our fun activities. Register by Dec. 15 to reserve a spot.
