Recently, Bulloch Academy hired Jason Godbee as the new Assistant Director of Athletics. Godbee is a dedicated educator and seasoned administrator with a passion for shaping the next generation of leaders. With a background in communications, history and education, Godbee brings a wealth of experience to his roles in both academic and athletic settings.
As a committed coach, he has led baseball teams to impressive victories and instilled values of character, tenacity, and brotherhood in his players. In addition to his invaluable experience on the high school athletic field, Coach Godbee has the good fortune to have had over 20 players playing at the collegiate or professional level and has several years working in the college baseball summer league program.
Coach Godbee's leadership extends beyond the field, as he has also excelled in roles ranging from sports information director to Dean of Students. His commitment to academic excellence, coupled with his philosophy of developing maximum athletes, underscores his dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
With extensive experience in the private school community, he has served at First Presbyterian Day School, Strong Rock Christian, and Wesleyan School. When asked what he was most excited about in his new role, Godbee had this to say.
“I am excited to be part of the BA Family and get to work with an already outstanding staff as we educate and equip students for success,” Godbee said. “I am honored to join such a special place for so many people and hope prayerfully to continue its legacy of excellence on the athletic field and off of it.”
