Mrs. Wilma Reddick Lynn Daughtry Lewis, age 91, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Pineview Nursing Home surrounded by her family. She was born June 4, 1932 in Screven County to the late Walter and Ida Saxon Reddick. Mrs. Wilma received her education in the Screven County school system and worked for many years at Jockey International. After retiring she pursued her education in the nursing field and received her LPN license. Upon graduation from the nursing program she worked at Bulloch Memorial Hospital and later at Bethany Home Nursing Facility in Millen, Ga. She cared for many elderly family members as well as community members in the Bay Gall Area. Mrs. Wilma was a devout Christian and raised her children in a Christian manner. She enjoyed reading her Bible, sewing, quilting, cooking, attending church services and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Wilma had a passion and special talent for growing beautiful flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Robert Lynn and Richard (Dick) Daughtry, her siblings, Arnease Cochran, Jimmy Reddick, Carrie McKinney, Lavada Nichols, and Suejette Joiner, and a great grandchild, Laci Ellis.  Survivors include her children, Linda Evans, Melvin (Lynda) Lynn, Betty Murray, Rose Hendrix, Edward Lynn, and Frankie (Mike) Markovcic; her sisters, Pearl Weathersby, Christine (Bobby) Dailey , and Wanda (Don) Coleman; her grandchildren, Michael Carter, Scott Carter, Lori Hendrix, Vinnie Lynn, Jeannie Newton-Riner, Danielle Jackson, Dustin Newton, Lynn Hendrix, Christy Deal, Brandi Strickland, and Cala Collins; thirteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews including Belinda Waters who was lovingly attentive to her Aunt Wilma. She is also survived by her lifelong friend, Marcella Sasser.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Daughtry Family Cemetery in Bulloch County with Rev. Thomas Hendrix officiating.

The family would like to thank her nurse Kelly and the entire staff of Regency Hospice for their care, concern and compassion shown to Mrs. Wilma.
