Mr. Willie Lee Wiggins was born on January 26, 1933, in Statesboro, Georgia (Bulloch County) to the late Mr. Levie Wiggins and Mrs. Lizzie Mae Owens-Wiggins.
In his early years Willie received his education in the Effingham County Public School System.
After leaving the south he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he resided for seventy years. While there he spent several years working for the Philadelphia Police Department until he retired.
After his retirement from the police department, he found employment with the Rittenhouse Condo Apartments where he was a security doorman. He was also a devoted member of Saint Charles Catholic Church until his health began to fail him.
On Tuesday December 24, 2025, Willie Lee Wiggins entered into eternal rest.
He was the oldest of four siblings, sisters Gussie Willis of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, Eva Lee Nelson (Deceased) of Marlow Georgia, and Lula Mae Herron of Savannah Georgia. He is survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
