Mr. Willie Donaldson Jr., age 69, passed into rest, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
He was born August 6, 1955, in Bulloch County Georgia to the late Willie Donaldson, Sr. and Geraldine Brown Donaldson.
At an early age he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he resided with his father. He later moved to Pompano Beach Florida, and afterwards he resided in Atlanta for the last twenty-two and a half years. He retired from the Pitney-Bowes Company.
He was a member of the Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Donaldson leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of thirty-four years, Patricia Rich Donaldson, Lithonia GA; brothers, Walter Jimmy Brown, Seneca, S.C. and Bobby Donaldson, Atlanta, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma (Kevin) Johnson, and JerryAnn (Bernard) Weaver, both Statesboro, GA; his mother-in-law, Emmie Lee Rich, Statesboro, GA; sisters-in-law, Elsie (Larry) Seabrooks, Pompano Beach, Fl; Cynthia (Carnell) Wilson, Statesboro, GA, Anglenette (David) Godbolt and Gwen Rich, all of Statesboro, GA; brothers-in-law, Herbert F. Rich and Devon (Cathy) Rich, both of Statesboro, GA; aunts, Mary Lou Lee, Fort Pierce, Gladys Easley, Nashville, Tenn. and Gertrude Brown, Statesboro, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A walk-through viewing will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
Mr. Donaldson will rest at the church on the day of service, from 12 noon until the funeral hour. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
The funeral service for Mr. Willie Donaldson, Jr., will be held at 1 P.M., Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Elm Street Church of God, the Rev. Dr. Alexander Smith, Jr., is pastor, the Rev. Maurice Hill, officiating. Burial will follow in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens
