Minister William "Billy{ Rogers, age 74, entered rest, Saturday, July 27, 2024, at his residence.
William “Billy” Rogers was born April 19, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Joseph Thomas and Beatrice Rogers.
He received his formal education in the public school system of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He later moved to Statesboro in 1975.
Minister William Rogers was a man after God’s own heart. He enjoyed ministering the Word of God and he was a member of the Whitesville Full Gospel Worship Center.
His memories will be forever cherished by, a stepdaughter, Clarice Jackson, stepsons, Bishop Terrence (Lady Rhonda) Jackson, Sr., and Deacon Benjamin (Catherine) Jackson, all of Statesboro, GA ; sisters, Ada (Ezell) Reaves , and Mable Rogers, Atlanta, GA, brothers, Elder Frankie (Debra) Rogers, and Larry (Cynthia) Rogers, Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing for Minister Rogers, will be held 4 P.M. to 7 P.m., Friday, August 2, 2024 at Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
A celebration of Life Service for Minister William "Billy" rogers, will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Whitesville Full Gospel Worship Center, with the Bishop Larry Jones, Officiating.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
