Mrs. Lucille Williams Jones, age 80, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was a Bulloch County native and the second oldest daughter of the late Elbert and Lois Hagins Jones.
Mrs. Jones lived in Portal, Georgia most of her life and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and family. She was a member of the Pine Grove Holiness Church.
She is survived by her children, two daughters, Peggy Chavers and Diane Baker; two sons, Rancheris (Debra) Williams and Ralph Jones; sisters, Gertrude (Jimmy) Huff; brothers, Jerry (Queen) Williams, Willy Williams, and Bobby Williams; grandchildren, Rachael (Darryl) Davis, Lukeysha Chavers, Latisha Chavers, Clarence Chavers, Tracey Scott, and Kyler Scott; a special first cousin, Loice Washington; as well as great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
A viewing for Mrs. Lucille Williams Jones will be held Thursday, March 21, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
The funeral service for Mrs. Jones will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2025, at the Agape Worship Center with Pastor Elder Donald Chavers Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Hodge Cemetery on Two Chop Road, Portal, Georgia.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
