Mrs. Loretta Sue O'Neal Rigdon, age 67, departed this earth on Wednesday, September 20th 2023. A resident of Hephzibah, Sue was originally from Savannah where she met and fell in love with her husband of 48 years, Mr. Gary L Rigdon Sr. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, collecting angels, and garage sale shopping.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Enoch Roscoe and Mary Wilkes O’Neal, brother Terry L. O’Neal, and her eldest son Gary L. Rigdon, Jr.
Sue is survived by her husband, Gary L. Rigdon, Sr.; siblings Mickey Wayne O’Neal (Lana), and Nancy Ciucevich; children Matthew Rigdon (Sue Ann), Randall Rigdon (Cindy), Alicia Sue (Rigdon) Chavers; grandchildren Bradley, Blake, Billy, Michael, Cheyenne Grace; step grandchildren Emily and Trey, and several nieces and nephews.
A family visitation will be held Monday morning from 10:00am until. 11:00am at Joiner Anderson Funeral Home.
Graveside services and burial will be held on Monday at 11:30am at Corinth-Leefield Cemetery in Brooklet.
