Mrs. Kathy Christine Sherrod, age 45, died on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
Kathy was born on January 13, 1979 to Mr. Bennie Sherrod and Mrs. Sherry (Sherrod) Mock. She worked as Treasurer for the Colours Christian Political Party and enjoyed time in the outdoors, gardening, and hunting artifacts. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kathy is survived by her boyfriend of over 10 years, Don Tracy Brown, and his parents, Manzy E. and Linda M. Brown, her brothers, Ben Sherrod and Timmy Mock, and two aunts, Linda Jane Sherrod Deubner and Louise Sherrod.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am at Old Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Tony Pagliarullo officiating.
