James Morgan Beasley, age 81, died peacefully at his home on Monday, November 4th, 2024. Mr. Beasley was born at Bulloch Memorial Hospital on December 6th, 1942, and raised on his father’s farm off Highway 46 south of Statesboro. He had an accomplished 23-year career in the U.S. Air Force as a Flight Engineer and traveled to many exotic destinations. In retirement, he returned to Bulloch County and his family farm where he spent the rest of his days.
He is survived by his son, Dewayne Beasley and daughter, Angela Thompson. Four grandchildren, Chris Celeste, Jeremy Celeste, Justin Celeste and Mindy Celeste and several grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 8th from 10:00am until 11:00am at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro.
The funeral will be held after visitation at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel.
Internment will be at Lower Lotts Creek Church Cemetery.
