Mrs. Ivory Lee Mincey, age 72, entered rest Friday, February 2, 2024, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility.
The Bulloch County native was the daughter of the late Marcellus and Rosa Bell Mikell Williams.
She received her formal education in the Bulloch County School System and was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Register Georgia.
Mrs. Mincey was a former employee of Harville Farms.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Charles Mincey.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Eddie Charles (Danielle) Mincey, Statesboro, GA; four daughters, Melissa Mincey and Sharon (Ralph) Furman, both of Metter, GA, Melinda Mincey and Michell Mincey, both of Millen, GA; three sisters, Mae Frances Adams, Claxton, GA, Juanita McCollum, Brooklet, GA, and Ishie (Randolph) Scott; 18 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 6 sisters-in-law, 4 brothers-in-law, a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
The Mincey family will receive friends on Friday evening, February 9, 2024, from 5 pm to 6 pm in the chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.
The funeral service for Mrs. Ivory L. Mincey, will be held 2 pm, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Delmons White, officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
