Hilda Ellis Williams, age 83, of Statesboro passed away peacefully on April 27, 2023, at her residence under the care of Affinis Hospice after an extended illness. Hilda was a native and lifelong resident of Statesboro.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, the late Garfield and Frances Adams Ellis, her husband, the late Walter Williams, sisters, the late Stella Mae Ellis and the late Dorothy Ellis and her former son-in-law, the late Daniel Brack.
She leaves her memories to be cherished by her daughter, Arlene Brack of Statesboro, GA; five sisters, Rosa Lee Devine of Savannah, GA; Mattie Sue (Willie) Herrington of Statesboro, GA; Betty Ann Banner of Savannah, GA; Ruthie Hill of Statesboro, GA; and Willie Pearl (Damon) Laury of Washington D.C.; three brothers Willie Ellis of Statesboro, GA; Bobby Ellis of Ft. Pierce, FL; and Jimmy Lee (Tisha) Ellis of Atlanta, GA; one grandson, Domonique Brack of Statesboro, GA; two great grandchildren, Heaven Aniyah Brack and Daniel Raheem Brack both of Statesboro, GA; she also survived by a host of cousins, nieces, nephew's other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements for Ms. Hilda Ellis Willaims are incomplete and will be announced later.
