January 8, 1971 - March 5, 2024

Henry "Lee" Royal II passed away Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Lee was born January 8th, 1971 in Augusta, Georgia to Henry Lee Royal Sr and Betty Jo Mercer Williams. He resided in Millen, Georgia for most of childhood. It was there that he met the love of his life, Jenny , at the age of 15. The two later relocated to Statesboro, Georgia after getting married and then starting their family.

He is predeceased by his father, Henry Lee Royal Sr and father in law, Joel Wiggins

Lee is survived by his wife, Jenny Royal, daughter, Josie Royal, granddaughter, Zada Leigh Royal, his mother, Betty Jo Mercer Williams, mother-in-law, Patsy Wiggins four sisters: Ingrid Royal, Crystal (Jay) Weatherford, Amy (Jason) Searson, Kryslynn (Dominque) Royal, two brothers, Perry (Bessie) Royal, and Corey Royal. Numerous friends, neices, nephews and other relatives are survived by as well.

Lee was known to be a master of many trades and a perfectionist in everything that he tackled. At the age of 16, he began perfecting his talents in the automotive paint and body work which people still rave about today. With his immense talents, Lee had a wide variety of jobs throughout his life which led him into the construction field. He hononed in his skills working next to his talented father in law Joel Wiggins of Wiggins Construction and later with Tim Durden Construction. Most recently, he was a self employed contractor where he blessed so many with his talents. He also continued to do automative paint and body at his home for a select few.

Anyone who knew Lee, knew that if it could be done, he would be the one that could do it no matter the challenge. Despite all of that, his greatest talent came in being a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his "little family", his wife of 32 years, Jenny, his daughter, Josie, and his granddaughter, Zada Leigh, who he affectionally nicknamed "Willie Pearl". He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
