Mrs. Grace Huff Williams, entered into rest Monday, March 6, 2023, at the Fairview Park Hospital, Dublin, Georgia.
She was a Bulloch County native and the second eldest daughter of the late Ben and Louella Lovett Huff.
Mrs. Williams received her formal education in the Bulloch County School System and attended the William James High School.
At an early age, Grace joined the Mount Olive Baptist Church. Later, she moved her membership to join her husband, Edward Williams, at the New Bethlehem Baptist Church. She served as church secretary for forty years.
After thirty years of faithful service, Mrs. Williams retired from Georgia Southern College.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Elvera Ann Williams, sisters, Sara Mae Cooper and Maggie Huff, and a brother, Robert Huff.
Those left to cherish her love and legacy are, her children, Lee W. Williams (Bernice), Williamsburg, VA, Edwina Evonda Pittman (Darryl), Lithonia, GA, Gwendolyn Ruffin, Jonesboro, GA, Veronica White, Savannah, GA, and Edward Romero Williams, Register, GA; brothers, Ben Austin Huff (Teresa), Register, GA, Otis Huff, Tampa, FL, Paul Huff (Nellie), Eastover, SC and Clifford Huff (Sandra), Buford, SC; sisters, Pearl Brown (Carlos), Register, GA and Louella Coleman, Portal, GA; an aunt, Ida Wigfall, South Bend, IN, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, church members, and friends.
A viewing for Mrs. Williams, will be held, Friday evening, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the mortuary.
The funeral services for Mrs. Grace H. Williams, will be held, 2 pm Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the New Bethlehem Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. Germain Williams, officiating, Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
