Glenn Darrell Reddick, aged 75, passed away peacefully on November 13th, 2024 with his wife at bedside, at Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
Glenn was born on April 28th, 1949 to the late Carey LeHolmes Reddick and Frances Bazemore Reddick. Glenn was an employee of Torrington/Timken/Koyo for 40 years and retired in 2014. He enjoyed watching auto auctions, The Andy Griffith Show, and Gunsmoke. Glenn loved being surrounded by family, and enjoyed spending every Sunday afternoon with his family at their home. He was a faithful member of McBride Church for 61 years.
In 1977, Glenn married Johnnie Johnson and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and raised a beautiful family. Glenn was a devoted husband and father, known for his work ethic, dedication to family, storytelling, and humor.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Johnnie; his daughters Cora Vette (Kevin) Rountree and Stormy Lynn Reddick (David Lane); his two granddaughters, Lynnlie & Adileigh; his brother Edwin Reddick; his sister Karen (Willie) Zeigler; special nephew Will Zeigler; father in law, Frank Johnson Sr.; brother in law Frank (Lee) Johnson Jr.; and several other nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all friends and family who knew him.
Pallbearers will be Louis Lee, Will Zeigler, Todd Bazemore, David Lane, Dean Bragg, and Willie Zeigler.
Honorary pallbearers will be McBride Church Members; as well as, Mike Bazemore, Don & Ruth Bazemore, Jerry Mallard, Daryl Godbee, Wynelle Moore, Mark Mundy, Margaret Thompson, Stewart Thompson, Mike & Loraine Lee, Donnie & Lucy Teston, Mark & DeEtte Bazemore, Harold Royal, Bernard Boyd, Ernie Woods, Len Mock, Charlie Hutto, Larry Linker, Johnny Finley, Johnny Edmunds, Dave Stone, Chuck Kite, Gary Wilhelm, Thad Simmons, Larry Waters, Don Sowell, Bucky & Jane Duke, Tommy Griffin, George & Debbie Robbins, Jimmy Northcutt, Frank Johnson Sr., Frank Johnson Jr., Tammy Moore Thompson, Richard Ferguson, and Al & Penni Overstreet.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th, 2024 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 at 2:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
