February 17, 1932 ~ April 9, 2023 (age 91)
Frank C. Jones, Jr., age 91, of Statesboro, Ga passed away peacefully April 9, 2023. Mr. Frank was a Bulloch County native graduating from Statesboro High School. He went on to join the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served for 20 years. He also retired from ITT Grinell Corp after 18 years of service.
Frank was a member at Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church and the Men’s Brotherhood since 1950. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 90 for over 40 years.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank C. Jones, Sr. and Maybelle Smith Jones; 7 sisters; and 5 brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary Joan Skinner Jones; niece, Gerry Hotchiss; several great and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Deal Funeral Directors.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Deal Funeral Directors with Elder Randy Waters officiating. Burial to follow at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
