Eleanor Josephine Cave, age 94, of Sylvania, GA passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
She was born on October 18, 1930, in Hialeah, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Walter Cave and their daughter, Brenda Cave.
She is survived by her son, Gary W. Cave and daughter Wanda Blackburn (Dennis).
She was a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren, Lesley Joyner (Chris), Dennis Blackburn, Jr. (Carole), Marvin Blackburn (Melissa), and Cathy Adams (Bobby). She was also a “GG” to 12 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
She filled her days as a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and hosting Sunday dinners.
The service will be Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1:00pm at Joiner Anderson Funeral Home in Sylvania, GA with Pastor Brad Asbury giving the eulogy. The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Dennis Blackburn, Jr., Marvin Blackburn, Chris Joyner, Bobby Adams, Brandon Weyhrauch, and David Callison.
