Mrs. Dolores McMillan Mendez, 76, of Millen, GA, passed away Sunday night, February 2, 2025 at Pruitt Health Bethany.
Dolores was born on February 10, 1948, in Millen, GA to Jack E. and Laurie Jenkins McMillan. She worked for Jockey in the manufacturing department for many years. Dolores enjoyed sewing, being outdoors, and cooking as well as baking. She was well known at church for her sugar cookies and peanut brittle. She also loved her dog, Toby, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family. Dolores was a member of Antioch Christian Church in Sylvania.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a son David Hair.
She is survived by her husband, Martimiano Mendez; a son, Doug Hair; and her grandchildren; as well as her sister, Gail Griffin.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Antioch Christian Church.
