Charlie Martin Wheeler, age 73, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024. Charlie was a native of Bulloch County and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred O. Wheeler of Statesboro. He graduated from Statesboro High School and was a mechanic by profession. He loved spending time outdoors and fishing. He will be greatly missed by loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred O. Wheeler Sr. and Myrl Gay Wheeler; a sister. Gay Radford of Hopkinsville, KY and two brothers, Fred Wheeler, Jr. of Townsend, GA. and Stephen Wheeler of Statesboro, GA.
Surviving are his son, Ben Wheeler (Courtney Wilson) of Statesboro, GA; Grandchildren, Charlie Marie Wheeler, Benson Rivers Wheeler, Paisley Grace Wheeler, Allison Estelle Wheeler and Madylan Allan; Siblings, Connie W. Kearney (Ronnie) and Shawn Taylor (Jimmy) all of Statesboro; a special niece, Stephanie W. Spears and many other nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a gathering at a later date
