Mr. Antonio “Tony” Roberts made his transition from this world to his eternal home Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the Piedmont-Newton Hospital in Covington, Ga.
Tony was born on January 2, 1990, in Statesboro, Georgia to the late Robert Williams and Carrie Mae Roberts.
He was educated in the Bulloch County School System and went to receive his GED.
Tony worked hard to receive his Commercial Driver’s License and was employed by Pactive Evergreen in Covington, GA.
He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother to his family and was always there whenever they needed him. He had a great sense of humor and always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face. Tony loved fast cars and was an avid car enthusiasts.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Robert Williams; his grandparents, Willie and Alice Roberts; an uncle, Bobbie Joe Roberts; and aunts, Jannie Mae Allen and Burnese Roberts.
Tony leaves to cherish a lifetime of precious memories by, his loving and dedicated wife of 5 years, Shantrell Roberts of Covington, Ga; his mother, Carrie Mae Roberts (Anthony) of Statesboro, Ga.; a step-son, Kameraun Sapp of Covington, Ga; four daughters, Makensie Murray of Statesboro, Ga, Auriauna “Lil Mama” Roberts of Covington, Ga., Paisley Roberts, and Aubrey Roberts of Statesboro, Ga.; five sisters, Tammy Bolden (Mike) of Abbeville, SC, Sharday Roberts (Jermaine), Robin Williams, Jessica Roberts (Billy), and Takeisha Roberts all of Statesboro, Ga.; two brothers, Jason Willliams and Brandon (Cheryce) Williams of Statesboro, Ga.; five aunts, Rosa Lee McKnight (Rufus), Rosa Mae Roberts (Walter), Nanette Roberts, and Kathleen Durden, all of Statesboro, Ga., and Queen Fields of Lake City, Fl ; five uncles, Charles Roberts, Eugene (Glenda) Roberts, Johnny (Jessie) Roberts, and Doy (Helen) Johnson all of Statesboro, Ga., and Herman (Cherrie) Roberts of Millen, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A walk-through viewing for Mr. Roberts, will be held from 5 pm to 6 pm, Friday, November 24, 2023, at the mortuary.
The funeral service for Mr. Antonio "Tony" Roberts will be held, 11 am, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc., with Apostle Rachael Roberts, presiding and words of comfort given by the Rev. Germain Williams. Burial will follow in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
