Wreaths Across America honors the memory of veterans in Statesboro

On December 15th, members of the community gathered at Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro to honor veterans by placing holiday wreaths on their graves. Thanks to the generosity of local donors, this Wreaths Across America effort was able to place a total of 360 wreaths at the cemetery.

Bulloch County held an initial swearing-in ceremony on December 20, where Probate Judge Lorna DeLoach, Superior Court Judges Lovett Bennett Jr. and Michael T. Muldrew, and Solicitor General Catherine Findley were reappointed. The main ceremony for all newly elected and re-elected officials is scheduled for December 30 at 10 a.m. in the historic Bulloch County Courthouse.
