Wreaths Across America (WAA) is a national nonprofit whose year-long mission is to "Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach our children the value of freedom." Each year, millions of volunteers and patriots gather in local, state, and national cemeteries across all 50 states and abroad to lay wreaths on veteran graves and pay tribute to these servicemembers and their families.
This year, National Wreaths Across America Day will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024. This is a free event open to all, and the organization encourages community members to participate by volunteering locally or sponsoring a wreath for an American hero.
The program will take place in Bulloch County on that date to lay wreaths at Eastside Cemetery (1502 Northside Dr. E, Statesboro, GA 30458) and the Brooklet Cemetery (104 Church St., Brooklet, GA 30415).

Wreaths Across America will also need the community's financial support to place wreaths on as many veterans' graves as possible this season. 
National Wreaths Across America Day is made possible by thousands of volunteers who organize local ceremonies, raise funds to sponsor wreaths, and participate in the events.
Individual wreath sponsors and corporate donors pay for the majority of the cost for the program, and volunteer truck drivers and trucking companies make it possible for WAA to transport wreaths. Each Veterans’ Wreath placed on National Wreaths Across America Day is made possible through a sponsorship of just $17.

In 2023, over three million sponsored veterans’ wreaths were placed by volunteers on headstones at 4,225 participating locations worldwide.
Wreaths Across America volunteers tirelessly work year-round to Remember, Honor, and Teach, with each name spoken out loud in grateful acknowledgment of the sacrifices made by our veterans for our freedoms.
