Worship to the EXTREME: Waterpark RaveVival

The wave pool at Splash in the Boro was transformed into a worship party for the second-annual Atmosphere X RaveVival on Saturday, May 19, 2024.

Stage lights, glow sticks and giant beach balls scattered the pool while Christian EDM, hip-hop and rock music pumped through the speakers. Live Rock performer Evan ‘The Messenger’ says that the team at Zero Gravity Outreach bring their talents together to celebrate Jesus and bring the church to the people.

“We have a ton of people that may not come to a church function, but they’ll totally come to this. So it’s a good opportunity and platform to spread the gospel,” he said.

At some point we’ve all been “too loud, too crazy, too whatever” for our environment, he says, but he believes that we are made exactly the way God intended to make us.

“Jesus will meet you where you are at and as soon as you are ready to take that first step, he's waiting to receive,” he said.

Though technical issues dampened some of the special effects, the hundreds of kids, teenagers and adults that attended the RaveVival got to sing, dance and worship in a very unique way; to the EXTREME!
