This week, the William James Middle School girls' tennis team won the Coastal Empire Preseason tournament, 3-0.
They defeated Effingham in the first round, South Effingham in the semi-finals, and Southeast Bulloch in the championship.
WJMS girls' tennis is led by Head Coach Brian Hall and Assistant Coaches Mary Helen Harrison, James Hall, and Callie Lauder.
