Background on the Twin Oaks Vineyard Grape Festival

The Twin Oaks Grape Festival was inspired by the friendship of a beekeeper and the owner of a wedding/event venue. Ed Dinello, owner of The Bees’ Knees, had been tending bees for Marvin Deal at Twin Oaks Vineyard for the last three years.

Over time, conversations about grapes and the beautiful landscape of the vineyard birthed the idea of hosting a Grape Festival to bring the members of the community together to enjoy the beauty of the vineyard.

The community would have a chance to enjoy the grapes, the food, the entertainment, and the local shopping experience while touring the event venue.

Twin Oaks Vineyard is noted by several locals as being one of Bulloch County’s hidden gems. Deal's grapes are typically ready for harvesting on the last weekend in August.
