Helping local Veterans with their health

Many veterans are experiencing increased difficulty in obtaining in-person care at the Statesboro VA Clinic.

As an interim solution, the VA has implemented a “Telehealth” program which is video conferencing with an assigned remote Primary Care Physician (PCP) from another VA Hospital. The PCP conducts video conferencing healthcare with the assistance of an on-premises nurse in Statesboro.

The executive staff of the Augusta VA Health System will present their plans for staffing and updated plans for a new enlarged clinic to serve the explosive influx of new patients expected in the next four to five years in this area.

The VA Town Hall will take place March 18, 2024 at the American Legion building, located at 100 Rucker Lane, Statesboro. The meeting will start promptly at 6:30 p.m., so please arrive a little early.
