On Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 9am to 12pm, the Statesboro Birth Circle and Sweet Nectar Lactation & Infant Feeding Support will host a Supply Drive & Breakfast at the Statesboro YMCA Community Room for mothers and babies who still need to restock supplies after Hurricane Helene. All are welcome.
This event aims to support local moms and babies in need of essential items such as clean bottles, manual pumps, diapers, wipes, clothing, and more.
Attendees can access showers and water at the YMCA and are encouraged to bring their own water containers. Donations are still being accepted, including formula, size 3 & 4 diapers, and Pull-ups.
Drop-off locations are available at The Annex: Ogeechee OBGYN (1501 Brampton Ave.), Southern OBGYN (1094 Bermuda Run), and the Statesboro YMCA (409 Clairborne Ave.).
Community volunteers are also asked to bring muffins for the breakfast.
