Statesboro Police Department (SPD) Officers are actively investigating a shooting on the North side of town.
Bulloch County 911 dispatched SPD officers and Bulloch County EMS at 8:47 PM on Sunday, August 20, 2023 to a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Ladd Circle off of Lakeview Road.
Bulloch County EMS transported a male victim to East Georgia Regional Medical Center (EGRMC) in critical condition.
Statesboro Police Chief Mike Broadhead confirmed that one male has been shot. It is an active investigation and police officers will be working through the night processing the crime scene. They do not have a suspect in custody at the time of the story.
They will provide an update on Monday morning.
Ladd Circle is not near the Georgia Southern Campus.
