Statesboro High School alum band Scrack returns with new music

Local band Scrack will release its second album on October 19. A release party will follow at Hollow Haus in Brooklet on November 11.

In 2019, Statesboro High School freshmen Judson Lowe and Perry Hattaway sparked the idea of blending rock, psychedelic, and jazz, bringing forth the band called Scrack.

In 2021, with the support of many local musician friends, Judson and Perry released their first album, “Scrack Attack." The album presented 11 original songs, and the two were only 16 years old at the time.

Now recent graduates of Statesboro High School, Perry and Judson, along with talented friend Kai Parrish on bass, have completed their 2nd album.

The album, “Scrack is Back,” will be available on October 19, 2023! The band is celebrating the completion of “Scrack is Back” with a release party at Hollow Haus in Brooklet, Georgia, on November 11th.

In the meantime, you can check out their wonderfully eclectic collection of fresh new tracks on all major streaming services beginning on October 19, 2023.
