On Saturday, March 15th, Southern Manor Senior Living made a special, impromptu wish come true for its residents. Barbara Eloi, Lifestyle Director, shared, “They asked for clowns, and I said sure," Eloi said. "Boy, it did not disappoint!"
With no special occasion, just pure joy in the air, about 24 residents gathered in the activity room to be treated to a surprise performance by Starburst the Clown from Kaleidoscope Kueenz of Savannah.
Dressed in festive St. Patrick's Day garb, Starburst brought an instant spark of laughter and energy to the room!

In no time, the whole room was buzzing with excitement.
Singing, clapping, and dancing along to songs like "YMCA," "Uptown Funk," "Happiness Is," "Do You Want to Dance," and "Be Happy," the residents couldn't help but join in the fun. Within 5 minutes, the mood was set: spirits were high, smiles were wide, and the room was filled with laughter and endless joy.
What a perfect way to entertain and lift everyone’s spirits on a Saturday morning!

“The purpose of the clown is to bring joy! I hope it will bring back memories of childhood parties and parades. Clowns almost always make one think of childhood, and those memories are usually good ones. I want them to feel carefree and young again, even for only an hour," Eloi shared. "It worked! Definitely a fun morning clowning around.”
Starburst offered an unforgettable moment full of happiness and good vibes for these seniors.
