This Wednesday, April 17, Soyumi Asian Kitchen on Buckhead Drive will host a Taylor Swift-themed trivia night. The special event, with trivia by the locally popular A Rogue Collaboration, comes just in time for the scheduled release of Swift's newest album, The Tortured Poets Department, on Friday, April 19.
The Swiftie fun begins at 7pm, with $5 Taylor-themed cocktails (including her rumored personal favorite, the French Blonde, which is a concoction of gin, grapefruit, Lillet, and St. Germain), friendship bracelet kits at each table, and happy hour pricing all evening.
First, second, and third place teams will each receive Swiftie gift baskets. Soyumi general manager Taylor Rodgers is excited for the themed event and expects it to be a fun evening of friendly competition.
"Grab all your friends who know Taylor Swift the best and see who's the biggest Swiftie in Statesboro," Rodgers said.
