The Botanic Garden at Georgia Southern University will hold its annual Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, October 26, from 9am to 2pm, and Sunday, October 27, from 12pm to 4pm. The sale will take place at the Garden, located at 1503 Bland Avenue in Statesboro. Entry is free for all attendees.

A special Opening Night Party and Sale will take place on Friday, October 25, from 5:30pm to 8pm, exclusively for Garden members. This preview event offers members first access to the wide variety of plants available for purchase.

The sale will feature an extensive selection of pollinator-friendly native plants, hard-to-find specimens, and houseplants, along with a large collection of heirloom varieties. Visitors are encouraged to bring a wagon to carry their purchases. Stock is limited and will not be restocked during the weekend.

Proceeds from the sale directly benefit the Botanic Garden and its community initiatives, focusing on supporting the garden’s projects to enhance bird and pollinator-friendly plant collections.

Additional parking and a shuttle service will be available at Pittman Park Church, located at 1102 Fair Road, and East Georgia Pediatrics at 450 Georgia Avenue, both of which are within walking distance of the sale.

For plant enthusiasts seeking expert advice, the garden recommends consulting a landscape designer for in-depth garden planning assistance.

Purchases can be made via cash, check, or charge, and only service animals are permitted on-site. For a preview of the sale inventory starting October 18, visit the sale’s preview link: http://tiny.cc/plantsale.
