Beginning Tuesday, June 18, 2024, parking rates at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport will be adjusted, marking the first rate change since 2011.

Parking rates in the Long Term/Hourly Garage will change from $12 to $18 a day, from $8 to $12 per day in the Economy Garage, from $5 to $7 per day in the surface Value and Overflow lots, and Valet will change from $20 to $35 a day.

Anyone who parks in the garage, economy deck, or surface lots prior to June 18, 2024, will pay the current rate without adjustment for the duration of their stay.

Customers parking at the airport recently have seen options close to the terminal fill on busy weekends, triggering the opening of additional overflow parking on Ida J. Gadsden Drive.

Improving customer service and convenience for passengers and visitors remains the airport's top priority, and plans are currently underway for additional surface parking lots, and in the future, an additional parking garage.

Implementation of the new rate structure will help fund the design and construction of planned parking additions. The surface lots, which will be completed first, will increase parking capacity by 1,000 spaces, and when added to the current 5,000 space inventory, will bring the total available on airport parking to 6,000 spaces.

The parking rate increase was approved at the February 7th meeting of the Savannah Airport Commission.
