“To my fellow graduates, who like me, faced moments of uncertainty, I want you to know that your journey, your resilience has not gone unnoticed. We are proof that success is not always linear, and the path to achievement often involves navigating challenges,” said Burrell. “These struggles have not defined us but refined us.”

Jackie Howard, Practical Nursing Program Director left the graduates with one last charge.

“James Keller said ‘A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle,’ I want you to remember your journey in Nursing school, remember that when you have that nursing student following you for the day, that it’s your role to pass that light to the next person,” said Howard.
