Bulloch County's "Night Out Against Crime: A Faith & Blue Event" will take place on Saturday, October 7th at Mill Creek Park from 4-6pm. Faith and Blue is a national event which partners local faith-based organizations with local law enforcement to show unity and bring local communities together.

A Night Out Against Crime will be a totally FREE community event, with food and entertainment offered by local churches.

Several churches have already signed up to participate and more are encouraged to join. There is NO SIGN-UP FEE to participate; churches are simply asked to bring a free fun attraction for the community to enjoy (i.e. food, hosting a game like cornhole, snow cone machines, bounce houses, etc.).

Clubs and nonprofits are also welcome to participate in the event and interact with the community.

"We have been doing the Night Out Against Crime event for about 6 years since the Faith & Blue movement started," said Event Organizer Deputy James "Bubba" Revell of the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office. "A community event like this one is important because it helps our community slow down and enjoy each other and the community we share together. We encourage all locals to come out and participate in this free community event. There is no expense to participate. This will be the perfect time for families to come out, interact, and connect with their local law enforcement."

About Faith & Blue

Faith & Blue is based on the premise that strong communities are built through mutual respect and understanding. Law enforcement and faith institutions are key pillars of each community, and when they work together, neighborhoods thrive.

National Faith & Blue Weekend facilitates safer and stronger communities by engaging law enforcement officers with local residents through the connections of faith-based organizations.

National Faith & Blue Weekend is October 6-9, 2023.
