The Statesboro Service League has rescheduled its annual Attic Sale, which was postponed from its original date due to extensive damage from Hurricane Helene. The sale will still be held at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fairgrounds, and the new shopping dates are Thursday, October 3 from 4-7pm; Friday, October 4 from 4-7pm; and Saturday, October 5 from 7-11am.
Admission is still $5, and all admission fees will support the Statesboro chapter of AMBUCS, a non-profit organization that empowers individuals to overcome mobility challenges by providing Amtryke adaptive tricycles, scholarships for therapy professionals, and other community services.
A message from the Statesboro Service League:
As we all rally together to support our community after Hurricane Helene, the Statesboro Service League is offering 3 different times to come shop our Attic Sale! This annual sale is a great way to support our community while finding fabulous items for your family and friends! We appreciate your support of the 2024 Attic Sale!
For those still needing to pick up pre-sale or auction items, they can do so during Thursday & Friday shopping times.
Proceeds from the sale will go directly to a variety of local non-profits, including Safe Haven, Fostering Bulloch, Gateway Girls, Community Wellness Programs, Youth Sight and Hearing, and many others throughout the year.
The Statesboro Service League is comprised of women who are committed to bettering our community through targeted programs of education and service. The funds raised through The Attic Sale allow the League to continue supporting vital causes across Bulloch County.
