Local church to host watch party for Tabernacle Choir's visit to Atlanta

The Tabernacle Choir, along with the glee clubs from Morehouse and Spelman Colleges, will perform live in Atlanta on September 11. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Statesboro will host a free watch party, and all are invited.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Statesboro will host a watch party for the Tabernacle Choir World Tour stop in Georgia.
The world-renowned Tabernacle Choir is coming to the Southeast as part of its 2024 World Tour. This is the first time in 23 years the choir will return to perform in the Southeast. 
 
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Statesboro will host a watch party for the Georgia concert, which the Choir will perform live from State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
 
The choir has also invited the glee clubs from Morehouse College and Spelman College to perform with them during the show, which is scheduled for Wednesday, September 11 at 7pm.
 
The church, located at 1526 Fair Rd. in Statesboro, is inviting people of all faiths to join them for the concert. The watch party will be a fun, casual atmosphere with free refreshments. Attendees may come and go any time between 7-9pm.

According to the choir's leadership, “The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square performs music that inspires people throughout the world to draw closer to the divine and feel God’s love for His children.”
