We regret to inform you that our upcoming Boro BBQ Battle competition has been canceled. While this decision was not made lightly, it was made in the best interest of ensuring a successful outcome for the event.
We are excited about the future and look forward to discovering ways to provide more family-friendly events that celebrate unity, culture, and positive community engagement. The Juneteenth Bulloch organization remains committed to creating spaces for connection and shared experiences, and we can't wait to gather with you all soon.

Juneteenth Bulloch, Inc. will host an exciting new community fundraising event on September 14, 2024. The day of fun and competition will feature both a barbecue battle and a basketball tournament.
In addition to awarding prizes to the winners, all other proceeds will contribute to funding the annual Juneteenth Celebration and collaborations with other organizations to provide events and activities for Bulloch County youth.

Are you the King or Queen of the grill? It's time to prove it! Join us for the 1st Annual Boro BBQ Battle on September 14th, 2024 at Luetta Moore Park in Statesboro, GA.
This is your chance to show off your grilling skills, impress the judges, and take home the title of the 2024 Boro BBQ Battle Champ.
Perhaps you think you have what it takes to dominate the court? Gather your team and prove it at the 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament (Single Elimination). Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
Two amazing events in one location! Statesboro and Bulloch County, don't miss out on the hottest competitions of the year! Whether you're competing or just there to taste the deliciousness and watch the B-Ball games, it's going to be a day to remember.
The event will run from 4-9pm, and the deadline to register is September 12. The cost for BBQ teams is $125, and basketball teams can play for $30. Click here for competition rules, additional event information, and to sign up.
