The Career Clothes Closet located at the Statesboro Family YMCA is now open on Tuesdays from 12pm-4pm. The Career Closet is overflowing with clothes and is currently not accepting more clothing donations at this time.
The Statesboro Family YMCA is located at 409 Clairborne Ave in Statesboro.
The Career Clothes Closet is located in adjacent space to the YMCA gym and will have open doors and workers available to assist those in need of professional clothing each Tuesday afternoon.
All clothes in the clothes closet are free to those in need of business professional or business casual clothing.
The Career Clothes Closet is the brainchild of Chris Gohagan, a partner at Taulbee, Rushing, Snipes, Marsh and Hodgin LLC, who was able to fulfill his Career Clothes Closet vision through a partnership with the Statesboro Jaycees.

"The Career Clothes Closet is meant for those who need business casual or business professional clothing. However, if someone is in need of clothes, we are open to those individuals as well. In fact, we recently just had someone call who had a fire and they needed some clothes for work. So we are happy to have our official day and hours set to have our Career Clothes Closet open for the public," stated Hannah Beggs, Executive Director at the Statesboro Family YMCA.
