Eggs Up Grill will be opening its doors at the Eagles Corner Shopping Center on Tuesday May 28, 2024 at 6am. Franchise partners Ashley and Nate Pennington have brought the rapidly expanding breakfast, brunch and lunch concept to Statesboro, and will be kicking off the grand opening with a sales percentage fundraiser that will benefit their family friend, Allison Cole, who is suffering from cancer.
Opening day diners will be greeted by members of the Georgia Southern football team who will also be signing autographs. Plus, the first 20 customers will win free breakfast for a year, which includes one free meal every month.
Open everyday from 6 am until 2 pm, Eggs Up Grill will serve the full breakfast and lunch menu for customers that dine-in, order online, carry-out, or order delivery or catering. Their signature corned beef hash with potatoes, made-to-order omelets, croissant-style donuts and other breakfast classics will be served alongside their lunch selections including burgers, melts, salads and more.
The restaurant, located at 137 Tormenta Way, will seat 120 guests indoors, as well as 28 on the outdoor patio. Those who are interested in joining the service team can apply at eggsupgrill.com and find more information about the restaurant on Facebook and Instagram at the handle @eugstatesboro.
As long time residents and educators in Bulloch County, the Penningtons have been dedicated members of the community. Ashley Pennington, who will operate the restaurant, believes that Eggs Up Grill is just the kind of place that Statesboro needs.
“It feels like a local spot,” she said. “l am very excited to serve our neighbors in a place where they can become regulars and enjoy the same type of food that you would cook in your own kitchen.”
The franchise was founded 25 years ago in Pawleys Island, South Carolina and has expanded across the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas and Mississippi with 78 locations and counting. For the last three years, Entrepreneur Magazine has ranked them the No. 1 breakfast franchise.
