Looking for something fun to do with the family while also getting something yummy to eat? Local "u-picks" are gearing up for the summer season. You can get a variety of local produce, support small farms, and satisfy your cravings for those long-awaited summer vegetables and berries.
Don't delay on berries! Berry season typically runs from the end of May into June, depending on the variety.

Franklins Farm Stand

- June 8th: Squash, cucumber and peppers
- Mid-June: Okra
- End of June: Tomatoes
- All other vegetables ready in July.
- U-pick on all veggies:
- $15 per half bushel (they provide the half bushel basket and transfer it into bags or boxes)
- Or bring your own 5 gallon bucket for same price
- Blackberries and blueberries:
- $10 per half gallon
- $18 per gallon (they supply baskets)
Hodges Farm

Strickland Farms

- Mid-June: Peppers, Tomatoes, Squash, Cucumbers, Red Watermelon, Yellow Watermelon, Seedless Watermelon, Cantaloupes, Canary Melons, Okra, and Silver Queen Sweet Corn.
- Everything is 14.00 per five-gallon bucket, except okra is 20.00 per bucket.
- Corn is $17.00 per bushel (60 ears). Or 3 ears for a dollar/$4 per dozen.
