Goodwill Southeast Georgia is excited to celebrate Goodwill Week May 5-11! This is an annual celebration to remind the community of the no-cost educational and training resources available through Goodwill. We are more than a thrift store!
Goodwill provides career navigation, job training, employment placement and support services at no cost to job seekers. These services are available year-round, but our five regional Opportunity Centers are hosting a special series of events to celebrate Goodwill Week.
Statesboro Opportunity Center Goodwill Week Events:
- Tuesday, May 7: Resource Event @ Statesboro Opportunity Center, 10am-3pm
- Wednesday, May 8: All-Site Hiring Event, all Goodwill Southeast Georgia locations, 11am-5pm
- Hiring for 65+ openings including store management, E-Commerce Lister/Shipper, Manufacturing Associates, Donation Warehouse Associate, Apparel Processing Technician and more!
- Friday, May 10: Hiring Event in partnership with the City of Statesboro and the YMCA. Located at the Statesboro YMCA, 10am-3pm
- Apply and interview on the spot! No appointment needed!
- Employers include: Primecare Homecare Services, Department of Juvenile Justice, Allways Caring Housecare, Bulloch County, City of Statesboro and MORE!
Events are free and open to the public. The Statesboro Opportunity Center is located at 24015 US-80, Statesboro. The Statesboro Family YMCA is located at 409 Clairborne Avenue, Statesboro.
