As part of National Volunteer Month, Georgia Southern University recently recognized the 2024 Honorees of the Campus Museum of Service.

Beginning in 2021, the Georgia Southern Office of Leadership and Community Engagement began to include guest speakers with a passion and reputation for service as part of National Volunteer Month. The next year, a partnership was established with the Office of Alumni Relations to bring in alumni speakers who carry this passion.

According to OLCE, the Campus Museum of Service provides an outlet to share stories of how members of the university community contribute within and beyond the classroom walls. The class of honorees represents not only students, staff, and faculty, but also community partners, and alumni who continue to impact Georgia Southern University's various communities.
