On Saturday December 9, the Bulloch Rec offered local children the opportunity to enjoy fun festivities at the Bulloch County Ag Complex.
Parents registered their children for a one-hour time slot to enjoy special holiday activities, such as visits with Santa Claus and treats like hot cocoa and cookies.
Children also had the opportunity to make personalized Christmas keepsakes with Southern Pottery and Art Studio.
Santa came to town with the help of Four Points Santa, and Anderson’s General Store and Bulloch Fertilizer provided a red antique truck for him.
"This is our 'Cookies and Cocoa with Santa' event. We previously held it at our office downtown, but we moved it to the Ag Complex several years ago during Covid," Kimberly Sharpe, Events and Communications Coordinator for the Bulloch County Recreation and Parks Department, said.
"This is just a fun environment for young children to run around and play. This year we partnered with Southern Pottery and Art Studio for helping children make Christmas pottery keepsakes. We have tons of arts and crafts here today for children to enjoy, in addition to meeting and greeting with Santa later during their visit."
